Saving a Tooth One Root at a Time: A Challenging Hemisection Case
A severely damaged root does not always mean losing the whole tooth. Dr. Ali Sethi used a hemisection to remove only the non-restorable mesial root of a lower-left first molar and save the rest — avoiding a dental implant.
